In March, Miami Beach was filled with spring breakers coming to party. However, along with them came violence and chaos disturbing many of Miami Beach’s residents and businesses. In response to this, Mayor  Dan Gelber imposed a curfew to keep his city under control. Though many residents were heavily affected, this story shows how some were not, and how their lives remained the same. Reporter Joao Da Fonte sat down with the mayor who explained why he established the curfew, his thoughts on the future of the “Entertainment District” and some advice for underage teens who frequent the bars.
