Inside the Bubble with Ryan is a special column dedicated to the NBA post-season.

Back from the NBA Bubble, the Conference Semifinals series are in full swing and here is the update.

In The East:

After winning games 3 and 4, the Toronto Raptors tied their series 2-2 with the Boston Celtics. But in game 5, the Celtics destroyed the Raptors to take a commanding 3-2 lead.

The Milwaukee Bucks, without their star Giannis Antetokounmpo, kept their season alive by beating the Miami Heat 118-115 in OT. However, the Heat still hold a 3-1 lead in the series and look to close the Bucks out in Game 5 Tuesday night.

In the West:

The Denver Nuggets put together a resounding upset win over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2. In game 3, the Clippers beat the Nuggets and take a 2-1 lead in the series.

The Los Angeles Lakers recovered from their Game 1 embarrassment and handed the Rockets their first loss in Game 2 of the series. This one is also tied up 1-1, with game 3 taking place Tuesday night.

Families:

For these NBA players, it is a big sacrifice to join the bubble and not get to see their families for a long time. Well, that time has come to an end. Starting with the Second Round of the playoffs, players are allowed to host up to 4 guests and have them as the only fans in the stands, watching the games. This has been uplifting for the players as they have their loved ones cheer them on.
