Art may not be affordable to all, but everyone can enjoy it.  Whether you are making it, viewing it or purchasing it, art is all around us and is something we can all understand on some level. Since Miami has become a mecca for art buyers, it seems logical that we have collectors in our community. Student reporter Brianna Lewin wondered what criteria art buyers use to build their collections and what criteria they identify as most important. Is it the art or the artist that is most important? SHould you even like it? Is it a combination of factors? She talks to some parent-collectors about what they think about when purchasing works of art and any suggestions they have for young people who might be thinking about starting their own collections.  An enlightening report from a budding collector.
